Page Construction Company was founded in July of 1962 and incorporated in February of 1964 by three partners. The name is fictitious as the early projects were constructed for Pacific Gas and Electric. Since they couldn’t call themselves PG&E Construction, they added an “A” to the name and became Page Construction. By 1979, Donald Babcock was the sole shareholder and the driving force behind the business. Upon his passing in 2000, his son Greg along with Curt Dunkle took the reins through the transition and are both in charge of the company today. Greg is president and responsible for managing sales and estimating. Curt is CFO and oversees accounting and finance. Together along with long time senior project manager, Mario Batacao, they oversee the project management and field staff.
Page Construction Company prides itself on its long history of steady growth and its solid reputation in the industry. Throughout its existence, Page has constructed over 2,300 construction projects including public works, commercial, and industrial facilities. Project types include office buildings, winery facilities, tenant improvements, community colleges and universities, primary schools, maintenance facilities, corporation yards, and pre-engineered steel buildings.
Our clients include wineries, banks, business owners, municipalities, school districts, universities, service districts, state agencies, and federal government agencies. Typical projects include barrel storage and crush pad facilities for wineries, bank branches, tenant build-outs and new structures for individuals, police facilities, animal shelters, fire stations, school modernizations, aircraft hangars, tenant improvements for offices, warehouses, and maintenance facilities. Project sizes range from $5,000 to 8,000,000 for an annual volume of around $12,000,000.
Page Construction has been a long time supporter of the American Cancer Society, youth sports such as little league, softball and soccer, and builder exchange scholarship funds. The company takes pride in it excellent safety record, competitive bond rates, strong banking relationships, and long employment history of its key employees. Currently the company is making improvements towards green building beyond the recycling and erosion control measures it implements on each project.
